This month, we're proud to spotlight Efren Yanez, janitorial supervisor for one of our retail customer routes in Las Vegas. Since joining Accurate nearly two years ago, Efren has earned a reputation for showing up, stepping up, and setting the tone through his actions.
Grounded and reflective, Efren approaches his role with a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility. He finds rhythm in the work, fulfillment in helping others, and drive in providing for his family. Whether backing up a teammate or perfecting a polished floor, Efren brings a steady presence that lifts the entire team.

WHAT EFREN HAD TO SAY ABOUT THE JANITORIAL INDUSTRY AND WORKING AT ACCURATE
Who inspired you to pursue this career? My sister inspired me. She’s worked in the cleaning industry and encouraged me to give it a try.
What's your WHY on being a cleaning industry professional? In other words, what brings you to work each day at this job, besides needing to earn a paycheck? My WHY is that cleaning is relaxing for me, and I know it’s something essential that helps others.
What keeps you motivated at work? My kids and my family keep me motivated. I also feel good knowing I’m keeping the customer happy.
Which of Accurate's core values is most important to you, and why? (We Keep Our Word, Respect, Opportunity, Solutions, and Keep It Fun) I think all of Accurate’s core values are great, but Respect stands out the most to me. It’s the foundation for everything else.
Describe your fellow Accurate team members in three words. Well, I’ve only really worked with one person here for a long time, and that’s Anthony Wagner. He is hardworking, trustworthy, and easygoing.
What aspect of your job do you enjoy the most? I enjoy using the floor machine the most. It’s relaxing, and I love how impressive the floors look when I’m done.
What is your proudest moment working at Accurate? My proudest moment at Accurate was being offered the Supervisor position at [my worksite]. At first, I was nervous and had some concerns because I really value my coworker Anthony—we’re also friends outside of work.
WHAT EFREN SHARED ABOUT HIMSELF
What advice would you give to your younger self? Be respectful, stay faithful, and work hard for what you want—nothing comes easy, but it’s worth it.
What is something you can’t live without? I can’t imagine living without technology, as it’s an essential part of my daily life. It allows me to stay connected with my children and family, bridging the distance and keeping us close no matter where we are.
What topic could you give a 20-minute presentation on without any preparation? I could give a 20-minute presentation on alcoholism. I lost my uncle to it, and seeing how it affected his wife, kids, and our whole family was life changing.

You have to sing at karaoke. What song do you pick? I don’t usually sing karaoke because I don’t think I have the voice for it. But I do enjoy singing in the shower or in the car. I like all types of music, so I sing a bit of everything!
How do you balance your career at Accurate with your family and personal life? I make time for both. During work hours, I stay focused on my job, and when I’m off, I dedicate that time to my family.
